Thank you for so many wonderful hours of fine performances. Your movies always leave me rerunning them in my mind for days afterwards.

One movie in particular has haunted me for about 20 years. I have seen it only once (on television), and have been trying to buy a copy of it since then. That movie is "THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS."

I only now discover that not all of your movies have been released for public sale! That means I can't even rent it! To get a personal copy of this (and many of your movies, e.g. "The Sound and the Fury") a person has to resort to buying video-taped copies of a projection showing (at best), and copies of copies of copies, at worst.

Can you? (yes, you can), would you? (I really hope so), do whatever is needed (or tell me how) to get your films released to the buying public? (Please start with "THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS.")

Currently, your viewing public has to resort to buying horrible/soft copies from eBay auction sellers.

-- Since I'm wishing: oooh, in DVD format!! -- But I'd be VERY happy with VHS.

Empire Falls (Richard Russo novel) will become an HBO film. Newman has signed to produce and star in a yet-to-be-scheduled HBO version of Empire Falls. My name is Rachel Bell and I am from Blakely, Early County, Georgia. Inasmuch as you were once from this part of the country, I felt an obligation to advise you of what is taking place here in our beautiful Early County, Georgia (God's Country). A HUGE coal-fired power plant is in the process of locating a plant in Early County, GA on the bank of the Chattahoochee River. As you probably know, this county is a rural county and is in need of industry. That is correct, we do need new industry, but CLEAN industry. This plant proposes to take 18 million gallons of water from the Chattahoochee River PER DAY. Therefore it will have much waste from its operation as a dirty power plant. I wish that you could help in someway to deter this COAL FIRED POWER PLANT from locating in our county. A small group comprised of people from Georgia, Florida and Alabama have formed a conservationalist group by the name of "The Friends of the Chattahoochee" and we are doing everything within our power to educate our citizations and to discourage (legally) this plant from locating in our area. Our county government is only seeing dollar marks and not what damage this plant will do to our environment. We already have one of the largest paper mills in the U.S. located here in Early County by the name of Georgia Pacific. This plant has put us on the EPD list of being the 10th most polluted County in the State of Georgia out of 159 states.

Hello

I have run my website www.boycott-republicans.com for two years. Over 25,000 people have seen the website and about 2,000 people have joined the boycott. I have taken the boycott and created it on the national level against a political party and their major known campaign contributors.

I believe in capitalism and the free market. I will have people vote with their dollars and use the free market to punish and shape the behavior of the Republican Party, whose leaders remain stuck somewhere between the 19th century and 1929. We will take the Republican Party legally hostage along with their major campaign contributors. The party of Lincoln has turned into the party of George Lincoln Rockwell.

I say "No Justice? No Commerce" or "No Commerce without Justice" With boycotts you don't need to worry about police lines and barriers protecting those you want to protest. You just close your wallets to the donors who give money to the Republican Party.

I'm forming a Union. You have no union dues to pay. I have a buyers union for you to join and the benefits will include a better country without the taint of an overly selfish mean Republican Ideology. I find it necessary to make companies accountable for the mean Republican agenda that they fund.

Do you want to see over 40 million people who don't have health care get adequate health care? Do you want people to earn a higher minimum wage so people, not as fortunate as we, will live better? Do you want environmental laws enforced and improved? Do you want safety in the workplace enforced? Do you want unions to continue to help workers and their families? Do you want to see a more humane welfare system set up? Do you want to see more affordable housing constructed? Do you want your other important issues to get addressed?

Then fellow citizens, please join me in going on STRIKE. We're going on Strike against the Republican Party and their major known contributors. We will legally take those companies hostage. I want you to contact the following companies and tell them that you will no longer buy from them until they stop giving money to the Republican Party and their candidates. This includes their Company PACS. You will also not buy from these companies until the Congress and the President pass legislation that meets your issues to your satisfaction. We have a genuinely democratic union because you decide the agenda to demand of these companies to relay to the Republican Party and the pResident and the congress. The following companies give money to the Republican Party.

Please call these companies and demand the following from them to relay to the Republican Party and also tell them you will no longer buy products from them.

Demand that the company and their PACs stop giving money to the Republican Party.

Demand Universal Healthcare as a minimum for every US Citizen.

Demand a higher minimum wage of 10 dollars an hour.

Demand a drug prescription benefit at no extra cost in Medicare.

Demand that your local HMO rescind their latest outrageous premium increase.

Demand a universal voting system providing equal protection under the law for the United States.

Demand Federal legislation prohibiting states from using private companies processing voter rolls tied to a political party and police roadblocks from getting used as a voter suppression tool on election day.

Demand that the illegitimate pResident George W Bush and his vice pResident Dick Cheney resign from office for the fraudulent actions taken by them and their campaign in order to win the 2000 presidential election.

Demand a strong Federal Hate Crimes Law.

Demand the repeal of the 1996 Welfare Law and to pass a Federal Welfare Law that treats those indigent with dignity and respect.

Demand your other concerns.

Don't buy a Dell Computer. You can buy a Compaq or another good computer.

Don't buy Florida Oranges, Grapefruits, Orange juice and Grapefruit juice and avoid travelling to Florida if you can. Buy citrus products from California and vacation in California.

Do we have to boycott every Republican contributor? No, just the popularly known major ones because we take them legally hostage and you don't need to take every company legally hostage to leverage a liberal agenda. Does it matter that these companies give money to the Democratic Party? No because when you punish them financially they will have to relay your demands to Republicans and Democrats.

Stop indirectly giving your money to the Republican Party. Otherwise don't complain about how the Republican leaders promote their mean harsh decades old agenda with a tradition that began before the Great Depression in the late 1920's. Talk about stuck in the sixties. The Republicans remain stuck somewhere between the 19th century and 1929.

On the internet browse www.boycott-republicans.com and use the mail form to join the boycott and send your message to the media and the Republican officials.

I hope you can volunteer to get out the message about this website because we need to cut off money to the Republican Party in order to force congress to do a more liberal agenda.

Please pass the word. Why wait until election day to influence the agenda. Join a big buyers union and use the influence of your purchases every day. That's how Gandhi brought the British down and gained Independence for India. That's how Mandela brought down the National Party in South Africa. We can do this to bring down the Republican Party in America. That's how Martin Luther King Jr. advanced civil rights in America and that's how Moses delivered the Jewish people from Egypt.

La donna era in visita domenica alla Fieracavalli, avvicinata da due nomadi con una bambina di dieci anni al seguito, la signora ha estratto il portafoglio per dare loro qualche spiccio, ma una delle due donne ha sfilato una banconota da venti sterline. L’attrice ha iniziato a urlare attirando l’attenzione di una pattuglia della polizia in servizio in zona che è intervenuta qualche secondo dopo l’accaduto. Uno degli agenti ha fatto a tempo a notare che una nomade aveva lanciato la sterlina appallottolata a qualche centimetro di distanza. Le due donne sono state così arrestate per furto con destrezza. Si tratta di Lidia Giulietta e Giulsa Silvana Salcanovic, di 36 e 29 anni, di origine slava, con numerosi alias e denunce, residenti a Trecenta, nel Rodigino. Le due donne sono state giudicate da Federica Baccaglini, pubblico ministero Roberto Villa. A difendere le imputate l’avvocato Alberto Simionati di Vicenza e Massimiliano Ferri e Nico Galante. Il Pm aveva chiesto la custodia cautelare in carcere, ma il giudice, poiché le nomadi hanno figli piccoli ha concesso loro la detenzione domiciliare per tre mesi e le ha condannate anche al pagamento delle spese processuali per 300 mila lire. Nel corso delle richieste l’avvocato vicentino ha sottolineato che «sarebbe stato inutile il risarcimento del danno essendo la derubata una donna ricchissima, lei attrice famosa e moglie a sua volta di un attore molto ricco». La Woodward è figlia di un manager dell’editoria. Si trasferì giovane a New York per seguire i corsi della Neighborhood Playhouse e debuttò a Broadway nel 1953 come sostituta nella commedia «Picnic» dove conobbe l’allora esordiente Newman che avrebbe sposato tre anni più tardi. Lui stesso diresse alcune sue prove migliori come la zitella complessata e piacente di Rachel Rachel ; la Prima volta di Jennifer che le varrà una nomination all’Oscar. La Woodward derubata, secondo la denuncia risulta essere nata a Densbury in Inghilterra, ma «Il dizionario universale del cinema» di Fernaldo Di Giammatteo, nella biografia dell’attrice scrive che la donna è nata nel 1931 a Thomasville in Georgia. Delle due l’una: o l’attrice ha barato sulla data di nascita o una sua omonima ha sfruttato la notorietà inducendo in errore gli avvocati ieri presenti in aula, sperando in un risarcimento.

About twenty five years ago, my first day on campus at LSU, I ran into an older professor that I enthusiastically told I was a Speech/Drama major. I told him I couldn't wait to get started. I talked and talked and talked. He listened patiently and then told me a student that he remembered that had a passion and a flair for speech and Drama. She had raised a ruckus speaking out and had disturbed some of the southern sororities with her opinions. He said she had been his favorite student and that I should strive to equal her passion and flair. He told me she had left the campus before graduating and he had never spoken to her since but he heard of her often. He of course was speaking of you. I regret that I have no idea what his name was, I never saw him again. He walked with me to the Speech building onthat beautiful August Day that I was registering for class. I often wonder if I was dreaming. I thought you would want to know that someone spoke so highly of you. Oh, and I did find my passion and flair, with my own students. I love and remember each one.
